About the role
Our apps live on people's home screens. They track a heartbeat, remind someone to take a dose, or help a person wind down at night. That is why we care about speed, reliability and small details.
As a Senior Mobile Engineer you will own features from the first sketch to the store release. You will work closely with design and backend in a small team where your decisions ship quickly and you can see their effect in real usage.
We value thoughtful engineering over heroics: clear code, honest estimates and a calm release process.
What you'll do
- Design, build and maintain features across iOS and Android in a shared cross-platform codebase
- Write native modules in Swift (and occasionally Kotlin) where platform APIs or performance demand it
- Own the release cycle: builds, store submissions, staged rollouts and crash monitoring
- Profile and improve startup time, rendering performance, battery use and offline behaviour
- Work with designers on motion, accessibility and platform conventions
- Review code, mentor teammates and help shape our mobile architecture
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of professional mobile development, with at least 3 years of React Native
- Solid TypeScript and modern React skills
- Hands-on Swift / iOS SDK experience
- At least one app you helped ship to the App Store or Google Play
- Experience with local storage, background tasks, push notifications and in-app purchases
- Clear written communication in English
- Nice to have: HealthKit / Health Connect, Reanimated, or wearable integrations
